Reason: edited out the spam link and replaced it with a link to spam.com “

I don't mind signature links for ACTIVE members like when you had your garden forum link. It's those darn spammers that post just to link to their shoe sites and other weird stuff. Some of those sneaky bastards create profiles and then wait a few weeks to put links in their profiles.

Above is the current list of people with links in their profiles. #1, #3,#4, #6, #7, #8 and #9 are fine IMO. #2 & #5 would be ok if the people actually posted. Speaking of #2, the Detriot's bad side of town spam has pissed me off for so long that I'm thinking about using a word filter on "Detriot's bad side of town"........something like "Cuba" or something to drive them nuts when their links are all screwed up. Any good ideas?

The reason I removed my garden Forum link was because I started making fun about that spammer and thought he might start spamming my Forum - I am a little stupid when it comes to figuring out how my control panel works.
I tried seeing what the bad side of Detroit was about but it was just a blank page so I am not sure how to help drive them nuts (but I would like to help).
The family I grew up in lives in Windsor Ontario which is a stones throw away from Detroit – I could send them over to have a talk with the spammers.

The Detroit page in blank because when I did the word filter thing it changed the word in his link. Hopefully he was getting paid to post the links and his boss fires him since the link says Detriot and not V i etnam

I think I understand - the spammers link was about v i etnam and if I would of not added the spaces the JAB filters would of displayed it as Detroit. Cheers!

Somewhat correct, it would show up as "Detriot's bad side of town" .

Remind me on April's fools day to word filter the "cheers" at the end of your posts to something like " I like to wipe warm peanut butter on the backs of hairy women".....that might be mean, don't remind me.

Well that would kind of hurt my feeling because I don’t really like wiping warm peanut butter on the backs of hairy woman – I just do it for the money. Sometimes so it doesn’t seem so dirty I pretend the peanut butter is Nutella. Cheers!

Eco, it's "ass, gas, or grass..."--it has to rhyme. It was a popular bumper/windshield sticker back in the sixties and early seventies, aimed principally at female hitchhikers...before everyone wised up to how dangerous hitchhiking is.

I could tell you ever thing you what to know about spam and then some. But to tell you the truth I would be wasting your time because in the not too distant future spam won’t exist because Sir Tim Berners-Lee and the World Wide Web Consortium will begin step one of the re-birth of the Internet and steer it towards it’s full potential.
