Watching this new Animal Planet show, and I'm pretty sure I'll have to sleep with my night light on tonight! I've been in a few dicey situations over the years, but nothing like the survivors in this show!

GG, the program depicts reenactments of people you survive horrifying ordeals in the wild (eg, snakebite, wild animal attacks, tests of human willpower against the forces of nature, and so on)--people who by all rights should be dead, but who defied the odds to proclaim, "I'm Alive!" The one I watched last night was about a guy who capsized while canoeing down some river in the jungles of South America and became the victim of some flesh-eating bacteria that was eating him alive, or something like that. I really wasn't following along closely 'cause I was too busy playing on JAB.
