Are you optimistic or cynical?

Postby Rose21 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 2:28 pm

When it comes to love, do you let yourself get carried away, or have past romantic wounds caused you to shoo away those butterflies?

Personally: Public displays of affection are sure to get my eyes rolling. I've always been a cynic..I like to think i'm a lovelable GROUCH, and can be very sentimental when the mood strikes-thats just my nature. ;-)

So, Optimistic or Cynical?

lmao. The past relationships make me not able to trust as easily.
Which makes it harder to fall in love.

But I dont let it affect the butterflys.

I am very optomistic about a future together if he can prove his trust.
BUT sometimes things he will do will piss me off, and I have to step back and say This was from the past dont let it affect your future.

I guess Im Both? hahahaha.

I give everyone an equal chance to screw it up without letting past "romantic wounds" getting in the way. I can't stand the people that carry around baggage from past relationships. For example, if their x-whatever cheated on them and they have trust issues it's time to move on.

I don't mind PDA's but like every thing else there is a time and a place. When people hold hands or give each other a kiss it's one thing but French kissing and more should be done in a hotel room or the back seat of a comfortable car.

I prefer the hood of a comfortable car, but to each his own... :jestercolor:

Well, in all the trips I've made over the past 10 years (to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Canada, etc), I haven't gotten any PDA, but before every trip I always say to myself "This one is the one I'm gonna get PDA!" so I suppose that makes me the Ultimate Optimist! Never give up hope!
