Boat rides in Jamaica

Are the glass bottom boat rides worth it in Jamaica? Do they take you over coral or do you see alot of fish? Is the glass clean enough that I can take pictures?

How much does a ride cost on average? Sorry for so many questions, looking for cheap things to do in Jamaica.

I can't answer for Jamaica since I have not been on one down there but for other places:

1. The glass is sort of dirty and worn so pictures turn out really poor.
2. Generally a good captain will get you over schools of fish and then joke about selling you fishing poles, sort of fun.
3. No clue on prices, if there is not a line of people waiting to go out maybe haggle a little?

We have a glass bottom boat tour experience (I think one year ago, not sure) with Captian Mike during our Negril's trip. The price was reasonable and that was our unforgettable boat tour. The captain has great job and we did everything like, snapping, see lots of fishes however pictures result was not good.

If I get time this weekend I'll upload a video to youtube of my boat tour of the Negril waterfront.
