Bob Marley or Jamaican National Hero?

Postby ECO » Wed Oct 21, 2009 6:30 pm

If you could spend a day with one of the seven Jamaican National Heroes or Bob Marley who would you choose AND why?

What would you ask them?

If you have no idea who the Jamaican National Heroes are this link gives some info----> http://www.jis.gov.jm/special_sections/ ... eroes1.htm

I would pick Bob Marley since IMO he should be one of the national heroes in the first place.

I would ask him;

What motivated him to write each of his songs.

What each song means to him and what he wanted the songs to mean to others.

If he believes as many that the herb in Western Jamaica is better than other parts of the island.

If he is proud of the direction that his kids have taken.

If he minds his family's graves being a tourist attraction.

If Captain Crazy (tour guide at nine miles) laugh drives him nutty.
