Breaking the McDonalds habit, part II

Postby Wahoo » Mon Nov 09, 2009 8:44 pm

I thought I'd ranted on this topic previously, but I can't find the thread. But damned if they haven't done it again--jacked up the price of an egg & sausage biscuit from $2.30 to $2.61! I may be mistaken, but I believe that's twice this year they've jacked up the price. But this time Wahoo's taking a stand. No more overpriced breakfast sandwiches for this boy! Sure, I'll miss those tasty egg & sausage biscuits for a while, but I won't take it anymore, and my will is strong. I have nothing to lose except bad cholesterol and a couple of belt sizes.

Try their 99 cent menu?

I got stuck eating there a week or so ago since it was the only place open at 10am and I would not have a break until until 5 pm...... 99 cents for a muffin, 70-75 cents to add an egg and 35 cents for what they call a piece of cheese. Your post answers my question about if buying one with meat and throwing it out the window would be cheaper.

Try granola----yum yum!

It's a good thing McDonalds doesn't sell Gus Burgers...I don't think my will is strong enough to resist those.

And my will completely breaks down when GhettoGurl purrs in my ear. Her newfound beau C better treat her right, or he'll have me to answer to!
