Twisted Andre Dunn, 27, was found with more than 1,000 horrific images of children and several movies featuring abuse on his laptop and a memory card.

The pervert’s vile stash was discovered when his fiancée walked in on him as he tried to hide computer equipment inside a wardrobe.

What would you do to solve it?

1. it isnt on the increase, its ALWAYS been there, its a sexual preference just as homosexuality is. and thats always been there too.
2. it may SEEM more prevalent due to media technology that brings easier availability via the internet.
3. you can't solve it. what turns you on turns you on. end of story. i believe in desensitising the media hype and moral panics about child sexual abuse and paedophiles, this just drives them under even more and makes it more scary for victims to speak up. think about it - we all talk about how people like that deserve to die etc etc.....the victims of these people are usually people they LOVE. so there are so many mixed feelings there. would a child really tell on their paedo father if they knew this person would get hung, drawn and quartered? oh but dont get me wrong, once a person is found to be a paedo they should be locked up for LIFE. they will ALWAYS get turned on by kids and act on it if given the opportuni8ty. just as some people get turned on by big titted blondes or whatever si their preference. stop clogging up jails with low level criminals like thiefs and drug takers and fill the places with paedos. dont ever let them out cos they WILL do it again.

Crimes against children are The worst kind. It makes me sick to see all the missing photos up in the supermarket entrance..knowing a good chunk of those little angels were victims of such. Honestly I think our society is getting laxer. The more laws we make....the more things you can sue for..the more red tape..the more out of control our world gets.

Think about it...eighty or a hundred years ago if some guy raped, or raped and killed a little girl the entire village would form a mob...throw rocks through his window...drag him out of his house and show him their own form of justice.

Now days people are impersonal..we do our own thing..nobody gives a damn about their neighbour...or the lady down the street that just lost her husband and is doing poorly. Back in the day people worked togeather...were more of a community...or a family of sort. Now days anything goes....nobody cares...so crime is on the rise...people are concerned with themselves and ignore their communitys business...so it's easy to be anonoymous...the do what you want and get away with it.

Eighty years ago if you didn't go to church the entire town thought you were a bad apple..now days you get more flak for being religious than if your not. Times have changed..the morals of the world have changed...people feel braver to do what they want.

I dunno but I figure its a good thing to send them to prison. Child pedophiles are the one thing, even hardened criminals won't stand for...and they will get it in prison!! Let them suffer in prison long term...give them a life time to pay for their a actions. There have been news reports of child rapists being murdered in prison before!!

these type of crimes are on the rise because of how much the media glorifies children in a sexual light. it practically suggests to perpetrators to go ahead a do what they do because its the "norm" now. i think when they notice that others do not get much punishment for committing these crimes, then they will continue with the digusting acts. i mean, 1 yr for a sicko can mean time to perfect the video or images or or whatnot. what WE can do, is teach children how to advocate for themselves,how to use their voice, how to say no!, and how to be assertive so they aren't taken advantage ot.
