Canadian rock trivia

One of BTO's greatest hits was – You Ain’t Seen nothing yet.
In that song some of the words are sung in a stuttering fashion.
Randy Bachman the lead singer of the Canadian rock group had a brother that
had a stuttering problem so that song was made in his honor. Cheers

What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

Can't say for sure if it's true, but I once read somewhere that Jimi Hendrix was actually born in Canada... His parents lived in Seattle but apparently they were in Vancouver when his mom gave birth.

Blessings and respect.

I wonder if that would make Jimi Hendrix part Canadian – I think that would be kind of cool.
I bet Jimi Hendrrix and Randy Bachman would of did some cool jamming together. Cheers!

Nash the Slash has appeared as a character in several comic books and graphic novels by Matt Howarth.
The Canadain born Nash the Slash took his stage name from a villain in the Laurel and Hardy film Do Detectives Think? (1927).

Link below to a music video of Nash the Slash playing a mean electric violin.
Cheers and enjoy!

Ashley MacIssac was the first Canadian Musisain to show the world what Canadians
had under their kilts!

In 1995, MacIsaac appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, in a controversial performance during which one of his kick steps lifted his kilt high enough that his genitals were clearly visible to both the studio audience and the television cameras. MacIsaac stated that this was unintentional.

Link below to a music video of Ashley Maclssac playing Sleepy Maggie (sorry its not the kilt scene) Cheers and enjoy!
