Wow how awful! I wouldn't want to be subjected to a gender test, knowing that I am a woman. She has the face of a boy, but it dosen't mean she's a boy. I've seen woman on the street that make me look twice because It's so hard to tell if it's a girl or a boy.

Your right T- they should have handle it behind close door...now everyone will look at her and point their finger.

WORLD athletics is in crisis over the gender of Caster Semenya after tests revealed the South African world champion has no womb or ovaries.

Tests conducted during the world athletics championships in Berlin last month, where Semenya's gender became the subject of heated debate following her victory in the 800m, revealed evidence she is a hermaphrodite, someone with both male and female sexual characteristics.

I wonder if they will let her keep her medal :scratchheadblue:

I'm divided on this, on one hand it's really nobody's business what she has going on inside her body and I think the rules state that what is on the birth certificate is the only things that matter. On the other hand if (not sure) people know this type of stuff can happen when they enter sports then they sort of have to suck it up. I'll have to sleep on this one :scratchheadblue:

I agree, that man should be fired! He put her in such a position, knowing what the out come may be, not thinking for once what this might do to her if the public find out she has both sex organ.

We are convinced that the perpetual denial of the knowledge of these tests have fuelled the continuous violation of Ms Semenya's rights and dignity, by foreign and some local media.'
The family should sue the Australian news paper that publish the article about the gender test result. They didn't even consult with the family, it's all about selling paper.
