Christmas Tree is Up

Postby ECO » Sun Nov 28, 2010 7:05 pm

Today we went to our favorite local farmer to drink free hot cider, hot chocolate, hot coffee and to sit in front of his fire. Those things along with the free cookies are just the perks when you buy a tree from him. Oh well, the tree is up and now the thing has to settle in and take shape so the kids can decorate it....I refuse to since it's cruel and it gets pine sap all over me.

That's my Christmas tree story and I'm sticking to it! :neener:

My kids are now grown and have left the nest, and I haven't gotten a tree for the past 3 or 4 Christmases...but I do very much miss having one, and decorating it, and the Christmassy blue spruce or pine fragrance, and the soothing lights (all white some years, blinking colored lights other years).

Oh well, that's why God invented bourbon.

So.....you dress up your bourbon bottle like a Christmas tree? IMO a nice big ganja plant might make a more interesting tree but getting your "tree" on the cover of High Times is not worth going to jail.

Well a smeg weed Christmas tree might not be worth going to jail for but a chronic one might. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

(please note this song is by Afro Man so it may contain profanity – I am on dial up and didn’t have time to check it)

What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

If I had one of those chronic trees I would never leave home........I would sit in the corner talking to it about how much Afro Man sucks since he found Jesus (crappy music now, no more dirty stuff).

All I want for Christmas is my own chronic tree......24 shopping days remaining......

If I had one or two of them chronic trees, I'd never have to leave the farm.

The tree is now decorated.

Our lights for our house I hid so I would not have to install them and clean the gutters :-)

GG, I don't know what customs they observe in the Netherlands or Aruba, but in the US, at Christmas time, when you walk under a sprig of mistletoe, the custom is to get nekkid and have mad, wanton, abandoned, passionate sex with the first guy you see...which would be me!

Wahoo.. Dutch people smoke a spliff (or eat a mushroom/lick a toad) before we go underneath the mistletoe.. after that pretty much anything goes LOL

Saw a news report about an $11 million Christmas tree, decorated with gold and precious gems, at a luxury hotel in Dubai. Do you know how many hungry kids that tree would feed? Well, neither do I, but probably a lot!
