Color of Beads What do They Mean?

Postby ECO » Fri May 22, 2009 6:03 pm

This afternoon I met a lady from Africa who commented on the bracelets I wear and she asked me how I picked the colors. Lol, I found them at the airport in Jamaica and they looked nice so I bought them. She showed me her bracelets and started to talk about the colors and when it dawned on her that I knew nothing about the colors she gave me a strange look and changed the subject.

So, what do the colors mean?

if your talking about green, yellow (gold )and black, green represents the wealth of the land, yellow (gold) is the sun and the natural wealth, black is the people their hardships they have overcome and new ones still to come, red generally means blood shed

Damswell, there's something about the white ones and how they are mixed in that I'm missing.

Speaking of which, I just lost one of my bracelets sailing I now I don't want to replace it until I figure out what message the replacement one will send.
