39 Days to Convert the Grinch Rose

Postby ECO » Tue Nov 17, 2009 7:46 pm

So, I was thinking this would be a good time to bring Christmas joy to our board grinch:

I am the grinch on the forum, but don't you worry Nanoose I won't steel Christmas from you and the others.  <Rose>

We have 39 days give or take to convert her into a Santa loving Christmas fan :tease: I think with a little effort we can have her singing "holiday songs" in the streets :wedgie:

Note <pc stuff> converting to celebrating the holiday spirit without any religion attached to it.

Oh come on, Nanoose and I will come decorate your house with lights, Wahoo will teach you the holiday songs and I'm sure everyone will chip in with stuff like baking Christmas cookies for santa.

Don't you feel the need to get into this commercial holiday season :jestercolor:

Well I would feel like a Grinch if I didn’t at least try.
There are 2 things that keep the Grinch out of me – The Santa Clause parade and putting money in the Salvation Army’s kettle. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

Exactly, it all bout how much money retailers can make for the season.
Christmas is for kids, when they grow up they may feel the same as I do.

So when I grow up I'll be a grinch?

IMHO, kids of all ages can enjoy the spirit of receiving useless gifts that are purchased because the marketing people brainwash us into buying them instead of making thoughtful gifts at home or just exchanging nice verbal gifts.

Now back on topic........

Will you settle for hanging one of those stinky green pine trees from your rear view mirror for the holiday season?

If I had a nickel for ever time I heard some one say Christmas is too commercialized I could buy more Christmas presents. But that’s just me some people keep the Grinch away by making home made Christmas gifts to give to friends and family for Christmas here is a video about home made Christmas gifts. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

What keeps the Grinch away from my wife is making home made treats to share with our Christmas guests. Here is a video on making Christmas cookies.
Cheers and Merry Christmas!

Another thing that keeps the Grinch away from me is keeping Christmas traditions.
One of my traditions is to put a porcelain Christmas doll in a special place then I twist up her arms so that it looks like she is saying – I want one this big for Christmas.
I really get my jollies when my Christmas guests start saying how Christmassy things look and in the middle of it is my doll with a special Christmas wish.
Cheers and Merry Christmas.

Since time is running out to convert the Grinch before Christmas I thought I had better tug at the Grinch’s heart with a magical Christmas story.
(changed the names to make it more Christmassy)

Shortly before last Christmas Mr. and Mrs. Elf decided it would be best if they had a trial separation. The 2 little Elf’s tried to keep a merry face to show that they under stood their parents decision but I don’t think they really did and I imagine that there were no visions of sugar plumes dancing in their heads that Christmas Eve. About 4 months ago Mr. and Mrs. Elf decided to give it another try the 2 little Elfs put on a merry face but I’m sure they most of wondered if they were going to miss out on some visions of dancing sugar plums that Christmas too. And there were a few stormy nights were it was looking like the 2 little Elfs would be missing out on visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads. Today I seen the Elfs – they were heading North and taking a family drive in the 4X4 to a giant shopping store called Poll-Mart.
Were the Christmas magic starts is Mr. and Mrs., Elf know Pole-Mart doesn’t sell what they are planning on getting the teenage boy Elf – there just messing with him to throw him off track. (hint it has 4 wheels and rhymes with bod. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

I heard a rumor that Rose is going to be in the Macy Day parade on Thanksgiving spreading the Christmas spirit...........note this is only a rumor so don't go spreading it on internet forums! If you see an attractive girl on a float that is her and then you will know that I did not make this up...um I mean that I posted the rumor.

I thought that a secret Nanoose Bay tradition might help convert
the Grinch before Christmas..

Ever Christmas I get some sort of Christmas bonus from most of my grounds keeping customers. But 3 of them always give me a wink – a ho ho ho and then they remind
me that it’s cash and mums the word.. Cheers and merry Christmas!

and that makes 3. Xmas sucks!
I intrigue more people in real life than I do in cyberspace. What I WILL do is to capitalize on their attraction to me.If I set out to take advantage of anyone's attraction, its simply for the benefit of God's kingdom.People such as myself, whether we try or not, will always radiate some kinda attraction that men find alluring.my message to those who find it annoying "Don't hate".

At least try Hanukkah, those Adam Sandler songs about it seem pretty cool.
