Define: A Close Friend

Everyone has their own idea of what a close friend is, what is yours?

For me, a close friend is someone who:

1. I can call at 3AM to bail me out of jail.

2. I can call at 3AM to help me bury a dead body.

3. I can call at 3AM to help me give a hooker CPR.

4. Someone I can ask if I need $5000 with no questions asked........ Do you want to be my close friend?

A close friend is someone who no matter what knows you inside and out, someone who you can give your opinion and they take it and dont get mad if its not what they wanna hear. A close friend is also someone who is there for u no matter what, that you can count on, who if need be put whats going on with them aside and will be there for you in your time of need.

A close friend is someone who you dont necessarily need to see everyday or even talk to, but know they are there for you. When you do se them and talk to them its like a day has never passed.

I am blessed to have a handful of close friends that i can rely on for all these things....many ive been friends with for over 12 years and a few only for a short time.

I believe close friends are a blessing and they are there for the long haul, they are always ready to listen to you, help steer you in the right direction and be there when and if you fail.

Friendship means a lot to me. To have a true friend is richer than Bill Gates.
I could sums it up in one word TRUST but hear goes.

Always being there for your friends no matter what.

Someone who will lend a shoulder whenever my dreams
began to fail, he/she is thre to fix them.

Someone who I can have fun and hang out with till the wee hours of the moning.

A friend (male) mean that there is no pressure to have to do anything sexual with them.

I thought about replying to this thread weeks ago but I wasn’t sure of how to properly define a close friend. Today it dawned on me that the best way to define a close friend is to rip of an old saying (love is many a splendid thing). Then define a close friend by saying –
a close friend is many a splendid thing.

(in a way good old Ma is partly responsible for helping me be able to define a close friend because one of her old sayings was if you need something steel it)

To me a close friend is a person I share with... A person I can talk to about everything and that is honest with me and not just tells me what he or she thinks I wanna hear... I have two very close friends.. that I share a lot of my personal crap with... They are both men.. I am kinda tired of women with drama LOL I have enough drama myself and men usually tell it the way it is without wearing pink glasses or dealing with hormones every month LOL
