What a difference a year makes. Son's LAX team, the Radford Univ. Highlanders, has been playing strong during the fall and spring seasons. Next games are this weekend in Charlottesville (central Va), so I'm planning to drive down to show my support for the team (and slip my son some beer money, now that he's 21 and can buy his own beer instead of drinking mine).
10 am: Radford v. Lunchburg College
11:30 am: UVa v. Radford
1 pm: UVa v. Lynchburg
RU men's lacrosse team travels to James Madison Univ. (Harrisonburg, Va) the next weekend for a full day of games (multiple teams). Not sure I can make that trip, though, what with gas prices going thru the roof. Which raises the question: If the cost of a barrel of oil has
decreased, as it has over the past week or two, why does the price per gallon of gas at the pumps continue to
increase every day?

But I digress...
