Eat, Sleep, Play Lacrosse

Postby Wahoo » Wed Jul 01, 2009 2:01 pm

Younger son's first game of the summer LAX season is tonite at 7:00, so I'll have to postpone my serious imbibing till 9:00-ish tonite. He's playing in the men's open league (mostly college-aged kids). There's also a men's "master's" league for old geezers aged 35 and up.

Ooh, thanx for reminding me! I would have totally forgotten to take my camera if you hadn't mentioned photos. I'll probably forget again anyway, but at least you reminded me.

LAX MILFs = lacrosse moms i'd like to buy a beer (or a couple of shots of overproof rum). ;-)

Well, tonite's games were called off because of T-storms passing thru the region (I actually arrived at the field at 6:50 p.m. when the rain started). So the game will be rescheduled, college boy son didn't get to score any goals, and--most tragically--Wahoo didn't get to buy any LAX MILFs a beer. ;-)

But the good news is son's team (though they haven't yet played a game) is still undefeated for the season! :-P

You know, now that I think about it, what unhappily married, sexually frustrated woman wouldn't fall for the line "Can I buy you a beer...or a couple of shots of white overproof rum?"

The one I'm still trolling for, I guess...

No, they like romance..........try this one

" I want to ride you like a two dollar whore " While it may sound rude it will make them think you are a true romantic at heart.

Focus on being more forward like:

"If I pay for the drinks would you mind buying the condoms on our way back to your house?"

Or

Talk about lube, I hear it's their favorite subject

Just returned from son's first LAX match of the season (remember, the game last week was rained out), and son's team won handily: 11-2. The players worked well together, bearing in mind that this was the first time most of them had played together. There're a few players from UVa on the team, a few from Radford University (son's school), and the rest from other colleges. I promised Tinks pics, so here're a couple. They look ragtag, but aside from the camo "pennies," they're all wearing gear from their respective schools. BTW, my son's the one in the plaid game shorts (the Radford Highlanders' official uniform).

I thought I'd snapped a few more pics (including one of son's wicked tattoo), but there were only four in my camera.

Next game, Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.

Hey, if you think these uniforms are loud, have you ever seen the clothes golfers wear on the course???
