Ghosts, Sprits, and Demons

What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

I'll have to wait until the kids are in bed to fire up a spliff and watch that.

On the pucker factor scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 being tight as a drum), I gave that demon girl a 5! :yipes:

Ya that girl in the mirror was kind of freaky but that clock spinning around on the wall looked like something you would see on a cartoon.
Here is another video.

I've mentioned before that the year I spent at Marine Barracks Adak in the Aleutian Islands was one of the strangest years of my life. I'll step aside while one of my fellow jarheads who was stationed on Adak a half dozen or so years after I left the island tells his story:

I was in Adak, Alaska, when I was in the service in 1978-1984. I served in marine barracks there, and I saw some pretty strange things there I cannot explain at all. I also had a friend who served there. I won't mention his name because this man does not teeter to the side of paranormal beliefs, but this incident he could not explain. And he was not the only witness.

Now, I cannot tell you where these marines were standing or what they were doing, since upon entering into duty on this island I swore to secrecy, but the island itself is in any history book, and I was surprised at how many people know about it, and the bridge in the story is in the history as well.

While watching at his post, this marine noticed movement out his window. He was shocked to see two files of Japanese soldiers marching toward Toothpick Bridge, and it wasn't just a glance, but watched them march all the way up to the bridge, which took several minutes to complete. But what really freaked him out was that they had no legs from the knees down! Other than that , he said they looked just as real as me and you, and when they reached the bridge they faded away.

I believe him because I knew him and what he was about, and because I was there in Adak for 13 months myself and saw things that I can't explain. :yipes:

That part about Adak, Alaska and swearing to secrecie really has my curiosity going – I am going to do some research and get a retired sailor buddy drunk to find out what that’s all about. Cheers!

Well, you could squeeze my testicles with white hot tongs, and all you'll get out of me is my name, rank, serial number, and date of birth. (Though GhettoGurl could probably extract all the classified secrets I was privy to in just a couple of hours of pillowtalk.) :bs:

I believe that was Jacko in that Michael Jackson ghost clip! The spirit's bleached white complexion was a dead giveaway! :rolling:

Well I wouldn't even dream about squeszing your testicles with white hot tongs but am I on the right track with Third Marine Division and Naval Air Station? Cheers!

Nanoose, if your retired sailor buddy ever docked at Adak, ask him if he visited the Williwaw (bar popular with Marines, squids, Seabees, coasties, and construction workers stationed on the island). Every other Saturday, they used to show porno movies (really nasty ones, too) at the Williwaw. Or so I heard... ;-)

I think I was on the wrong track before – I was looking for stuff about Russian spy trollars. Now I bet it was about underground nuclear testing. If my buddy docked in Adak he was at the bar drinking, fighting and watching porn.

Now I am wondering why the marine on watch would see Japanese soldiers.
As far as I know no Japanese soldiers set foot on American soil during WW2.
Years ago I was quite surprised when they found an old WW2 Japanese sub off the west coast of Vancouver Island. Cheers!

I wondered about that story of Jap ghosts on Adak, too, 'cause to my knowledge the Japanese never landed on Adak, smack in the middle of the Aleutian Island chain, though they did land invasion forces on the three western-most US-controlled Aleut islands (at that time, Alaska, including the the Aleutian Islands, was a US territory; the last island in the chain is part of Russia). During WWII, there were some 40,000 US troops occupying Adak as America's western-most defense against the encroaching Japanese. That must have been some sight, as the island is only 20 miles in diameter and all those troops were concentrated in only one quadrant of it. Compare that with when I was there in 1972 and there were only 3,000-4,000 mostly military personnel and dependents stationed on the island. I wouldn't know about nuclear testing, though there was a well-publicized nuclear test on Amchitka Island, two islands west of Adak, in the fifties I think. Never saw any Russians, and the only Japanese I saw (when a Japanese fishing boat briefly docked to discharge a crew member with appendicitis for emergency surgery at the naval hospital) weren't ghosts...or were they??? :yipes:

Well maybe before the Japanese soldiers were killed their mission was to get a foot hold on the Island – their ship was sunk then they carried out the mission in spirit.. It would be interesting to find out if their sightings are still seen to this day. Cheers!
