You are correct, the boy that was acting up in the clip that she posted does need some "granny time". IMHO if kids are able to get away with stealing at home they will without a doubt try it away from home. It would be interested to see if the kids leads a straight life now.....sure the hell will not steal from his granny anymore!

Maybe..........we will never know if he hit granny or just stood there and took the beating like a man. I'm not into hitting kids as mine have never been spanked let alone beat but I love to talk about how others should beat their brats.

It is ironic that the Americans and most of the large countries frown upon spanking the of kids, stating that it makes the violent. however, Caribbean parents have been spanking (not abusing) their children for centuries and our children have always been more discipline, while those spank-less children in the US are such brats. Now they are trying to introduce the no spanking rule in the Caribbean and we are seeing some of the trademarks of American children emerging. I am all for spanking along with other methods of discipline. Once the child is aware that it is loved then spank the hell out of them . The Americans need to bring back the rod and maybe they will regain some control over them pickney.

I'm fortunate enough to have never received any corporal punishment so I can't speak from anything beyond love - and THAT KIND OF "TOUGH LOVE" AIN'T LOVE!

There are splanking and there are beating, now that was a beatdown! Granny went a bit too far. As a child growing up in Jamaica i experience spanking and beating, it's not a nice fealing at all. It's about time the law step in and protect the children. I think there are other ways to discipline a child. LOL I am not surprise he get a bashing from Granny, what gets me is that he's 12 and already steeling for a girl.
