Greetings from New England...Boston, Massaschusetts to be exact. To state the obvious...

I'm no stranger to Jamaica--I was born in the US but mi madda from yard and I went "home" every summer until I was 15. It's been well over 10 years since I've been there and I feel like Jamaica is just calling me to return. So 2010 will be my year if God spare mi life--as mi granny does seh. Since this is the first time I'll be going on my own and as an adult, this trip already feels different. I could go on and on but I won't bore everyone with such details. Can you tell I love to write? Anyhow....

I'm planning a trip around Sumfest with the hopes of spending a little time in Ochi which is where my family is from. I've been lurking around the forum for a few weeks now and like the vibes. So I hope to make some cyberfriends and get some nice tips on how to make my trip as fun and pocketbook-friendly as possible. I look forward to "meeting" everybody!
