Hi my name is Claudia otherwise known as Diastring. I'm Jamaican by birth, however being away for the last four years really highlighted to me that I wanted to know my island more and also I wanted others to have an opportunity to see and experience the real authentic Jamaica, because thats what coming to Jamaican is all about.

So I'm on a quest to promote our my island home. To highlight the culture, exquisite cuisine, sports, music and the locals who proudly promote the National Motto "Out of Many One People". Hello my name is Robert otherwise know as Nanoose. There is one gal on here that sometimes calls me nano which kind of hurts my feelings because nano is an aboriginal word for winter foot ware so its like she is referring to me as a pair of galoshes. She doesn’t mean bad she is from the Netherlands so its just a communication problem.
I like Jamaican culture too also Jamaican history I might not be Jamaican in this life time but maybe in a past one I was and I like to think I was a Maroon lots of interesting history there. Anyway welcome to the Forum. Cheers and happy week end!
