GG in a High Speed Pursuit

Postby GhettoGurl » Fri Sep 11, 2009 3:32 am

So the night before yesterday me and my baby sister were spending the evening in the coffeeshop and grabbing sum late dinner...
In Holland everybody rides bikes.. Its sickning really but yes GG also has a bike.. (I'll show it to you all sum day LOL)...

So after leaving the coffeeshop and cursing off sum Turk for hitting on my 19 yr old sister we decided to go to my place. Its about a 20 min bike ride.. and with us being a lil off the world, it proly would have taken us half an hour BUT...

On our way to my house we had to pass underneath a tunnel.. there are two lanes in the tunnel.. one for bikes and one strictly for city busses. The one for bikes is boring but the bus lane always looked awesome to me.. its steep and goes a real long way down (and back up) kinda lookes like a skating ramp LOL!

Well with us being as "adventurous" as we were at the time we decided to take the tunnel thru the bus lane. It was f*cking awesome!!!

When we got to the top again we decided that it was so awesome that we needed to do it again.. so we biked back and did it again.. and again.. and again.

The last time we did it.. (I was all out of breath obviously) I dropped my pack of sigarets.. my sister stopped to pick it up.. I waited for her at the crossroads when I noticed a lil bus parked at the crossroad with its lights off.. I was like OMG a friggin bus and the girl is still in the tunnel LOL.. I took a better look and it was no bus.. it was the friggin' POPO!!! :roulette:

Riding ur bike like a maniac in the buslane is against the law but the fact that my sister didnt have any light on her bike would have cost her.. I yelled at her.. she came racing up the hill like speedy gonzales LOL.. thats where the chase started LOL.. she was like OMG we gotta ditch dem or we are gonna spend a night in jail I was WTF WHY?? for driving down a buslane without light? She replied No dumbo!! Thats probably a 60 euro fine.. but do u have any ID on you?

OMG I didnt know how fast I had to peddle my bike.. My cousin had spend 12 hrs in a holding cell just last week for not having ID on him... they arrest you and let u stay there until smaddy brings ur ID... with the cops chasing us in their bus thru my neighborhood we proly broke speeding limits as well LOL

I was sweaty and scared like a MOFO.. we had no ID, no light, never mind the marijuana that we DID have in our pockets LOL.. we had about a mile more to go.. and lemme tell you I have never biked this fast .. like my life depended on it. I wasnt bound to get arrested AND pay a fine AND spend a night in jail at my 27th LOLOLOLOL :rolling:

When we arrived to my apartment building the police just pulled up in the parking lot and we rushed inside... :dreads: I was happy we didnt get caught.. We are planning on doing it again soon LOL.. this time we're bringing a camera :tease:

That's weird, for such a free thinking country they make it a crime to leave home without your ID and then hire police that can't catch people on bikes to enforce it.

Oh my the things I’m starting to learn about you – smoking – running from the
police - blatant disregard for traffic and bike laws – I bet you don’t even have a
bell or an a-ogga horn on your bike.
Actually I thought it’s kind of cool that ever body rides bikes in Holland also
you said that there was only a bike and bus lane in the tunnel.
No car lanes or is pretty much just mass traffic in Holland?
(like trains and buses) Cheers!

So this is what I wanted to bump.. To proudly announce that my son has saved me 50 euro's this morning by running from the popo!!! It was early so not fully light yet, not dark, but cloudy and he insisted on biking to school (no lights) so I watched him go at the window... after crossing the bikelane he suddenly made a 360 and spinned right back home.. I opened the window and was like WTHeck Nigel????? He said "Mom, police were flagging me down and I aint got no light on my bike!!!!!" It's than when I looked up I noticed the police cars LOL... after like 5 min they left and my son left again for school.. I LMFAO when he left... Like mama like son!!! Gotta luv that boy!!!

The way we were taking is a shortcut, no cars in that area until that crossroad where the pop was waiting for us LOL

Well there s nothing like the satisfaction of saving 50 Eros and the thrill of defining the law but for safety sakes please get you boy a bike light and lots reflective clothing. I found it kind of weird that just before I seen this post I was going to post a topic that was partly about like father like son in the family Forum. (an will still do so)
3 cheers for you being beside your son through thick and thin!
