Holiday Weekend

Postby ECO » Thu May 27, 2010 9:14 pm

Have a great holiday weekend

In case I die at sea:

Wahoo gets my Digicel simm card and my database of contacts in Jamaica.

Rose gets my camera if she can find it at the bottom of the sea attached to my body.

Nanoose gets my music collection and my two compost bins that are full of rich compost.

GG gets my herb related stuff and my laptop so I don't leave any evidence in the US.

The board spammers can have my collect of websites........and the bills that go along with them.

I'll mail every thing out Fed Ex if I pass away :tease:

Enjoy the weekend.....not sure if I'll have a wireless connection or not...........but I found a bottle of Wray & Nephew overproof rum at a store in RI

Well I certainly hope nothing happens to you at sea but a couple of compost boxes full of rich compost would sure be nice. I probably have 10 banana boxes full of vinyl records and hundreds and hundreds of music CDs so at the risk of sounding like an ingrate do you have one of those garden claws so I could work the compost into the soil. Cheers!

I made it back in one piece!

Nice weather (70-85 the whole time), only 30 minutes of rain...........got a nice sun tan........

Great food....great beer.....crappy herb.

Racing was fun, the wind was a little heavy Saturday but the other days were fine.

Dayum, I was kinda hopeful of collecting on that digital simm card & list of contacts in Jamaica.....

Spent 5 hours Saturday trimming boxwoods and other shrubbery around my mom's house. That drove home to me that I'm getting too old to be doing that kind of labor. Now I know how Keith Richards must feel every morning...

Bought a folding Adirondacks chair (assembly required) on sale and took me hours to put that together. I got the water blisters on the palm of my right hand from screwing in all those wood screws to prove it. But it looks magnificent on my deck! (Even so, in retrospect, I'd gladly have paid the $20 I saved for one that was already assembled.)

Watched the NCAA men's lacrosse semi-final playoff and championship games. Fifth-ranked Duke defeated #1 UVa in the semi-finals and beat unseeded Notre Dame to capture their first-ever national championship.

Back to work today...

Actually, I was hoping Eco would bequeath me his Jamaican discount courtesy card that entitles the bearer to 50% off drinks at any bar in Jamaica. :jestercolor:
