You will have a totally different experience if you stay at an AI. Although it may cost less, you might as well go to Miami. Negril is the place to be if you want to party and most of the resorts there are not AIs. Regarding how much drinks cost, it all depends on where you are at- just like in the US. The concerts make their money off of entrance fee; I found the cost of drinks at an open-air beach or street party reasonable, cheap by American standards, and you can buy an entire bottle. Most of the people at a street party are locals, so drinks are prices accordingly. Concerts at places like the Jungle, that cater to tourists, have more expensive drinks. Sorry I can't tell you the exact price of a drink, because that is not by mind-altering substance of choice. I'm sure Eco and Wahoo have the nitty gritty on the exact cost to get belligerent every night.
