2 hours ago I got off work and went to the cold beer and wine store for
my Friday night 6 pack of Lucky Lager.
A retired Canadian Air Line Stewardess offered to pay for it – which I greatfully accepted. Then she gave me a ride home and after she paid me for getting the cob webs out of her crack (if you know what I mean) we said goodbye.
You probably don’t know what I mean so I will explain the cob webs were in the little cracks and crevasses in her crawl space of her house - I did lots of jobs for her today including a little bush trimming (if you know what I mean) – the 6 pack was just a bonus because she knows I work hard for my money and look forward to the weekend. More alcohol news. After work on Friday, before an excellent dinner at El Paso Mexican Restaurant, I stopped by Total Wine & Beer and got a case of Shiner Bock beer, from the Spoetzel Brewery in Shiner, Texas (population: 2,070). It's not bad, though a tad too sweet for my tastes when I plan to have more than just a few.

Got up at 4:30 this morning, and knowing I wouldn't get back to sleep, just stayed up. Made a pot of coffee. Did two loads of laundry. Since I was up so early, was planning on heading to the office early to get 4-5 hours of work done so I'd be done by noon and still have the entire afternoon and evening free, but I got lazy...and that case of Shiner Bock beer beckoned. Even so, I bought home a couple of hours of work, so I'll do that later, and go to the office tomorrow morning.
