Allthough Jeff is a tv presenter and used to the publicity I think he just wants to get the children away from the media circus He said he wanted them to remember Jade as she was. I think he is right. They don't need to go and see there mum put in the ground - that will be their last memory of her.

It's such a difficult call because we don't know what the future holds... how they will react later if they go and/or if they don't go!!!

Perhaps they should have been allowed to go to the church ceremony but kept away from the internment???

I suppose this is the end result of the press 'intrusion' into the whole debacle... the children are now not 'free' to mourn their mothers passing and put closure to it all.

This story just gets sadder....

On a side issue - I so totally DISAGREE with the way they are making Jade a martyr!!!! Statues and films!!! FFS - only two years ago THEY HATED HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jordan has been banned from her funeral because she had bad-mouthed her in the past.

I think their mother being removed from their lives at that age is probably enough to understand finality. Especially if they have said they don't want to got - its as simple as that no matter how old they are. Its a significant time in child development 0-5 years. They will probably be fine if allowed to live normal lives. Though may hold things subconscoiusly.

I like Jordan - but she HAS dissed Jade before about using her cancer status - which was bloody hypocritical considering our Katie was in every newspaper holding up her finger telling us how she had cancer in her finger. At least Jade was fornicating without passion bald from chemo before she embraced the circus. and i agree with jels on the incredulousness of statues in her memory. i hated this crap when princess diana died. i try to withdraw from the circus.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try and make us have 3 minutes of silence for her.
