Jamaica Travel Plans late 2009-2010

Postby ECO » Wed Oct 21, 2009 6:51 pm

Feel free to list your 2009-2010 travel plans to Jamaica in this thread. With a few of us going in April of 2010, it would be nice if a few people could go over the winter to give us reports of how warm the air & water is. ;-)

If anyone has an extra $1000-$1500 sitting around and they would like to send me in late December for JUST a few days I will return the favor by sending a thank you card :clown:

If everything works out I'll be going for 8 days in April but the dates are whenever school vacation is so I don't know the dates yet.

Unless...............Obama lets me travel to Cuba...... or I stop thinking about other places like Panama :-)

So.......50/50 change of making your wedding as of now, I should know for sure by Jan or Feb.

LOL. Not exactly. It will be 4 times in about 9 months. And -- the trips, for the most part, are only 5 nights. I don't do well with long trips! Makes it harder to return home, LOL.

jellybean, I prefer to make shorter trips with less duration in between. My flights aren't usually more than $340 in cost, round trip -- although, I have paid as much as $380, and as little as $198. If I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, it would be less, LOL.

Eco -- I hope we actually get to link up. I'm anticipating being in JA for MizzUnity's wedding in April . . . what about you?

I'm not sure what week I'm going yet, whenever April vacation is for the kids is when I'm going. I guess at some point I should check to see when it is.

BTW, I think the UK crowd gets upset when they see how cheap we can fly for. :tease:

I will just be in Negril this trip. In the spring I will go to Port Antonio and Kingston.

There is a lot of rain right now....
