Jamaican Men

Postby Dancing Susan » Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:56 am

I hope I don't get in trouble asking some questions but it seems like this place has a bunch of adults. If my questions are too adult in nature please let me know and I will reword them or delete them.

Ok, I want to know about Jamaican men! I'm 36 and just got seperated from my husband and want to go to Jamaica for some FUN!

My questions about those cute men.

1. What are my changes of getting lucky in the first couple of dates. Not to sound like I'm a forward but I don't really want to date for days before I have fun.

2. Are they going to call and nag me like the men I date in the US? I'm just looking for a few nights of fun and want to end it at that--- no strings and no phone calls!

3. I have been reading about Hedo the resort, do local Jamaican men hang out there?

4. Do I have to "wine and dine them" or will they wine and dine me? I'm not looking to spend a bunch on the out of bed romance if you know what I mean.

Thank you,
Susan

#1. Between 80% and 100%. Post a pictures and I can narrow that down between 3% (not kidding I'm good like that).

#2. Don't really know the answer, maybe don't give them your real phone number?

#3. There was a Hedo up the road from where I stayed on my first trip and it charge something like $75 (don't quote me) for a "day pass" and I think the guest have to be out by a certain hour. I would assume that locals are not going to pay that much just to pick up some tail when Ochi is right down the road.

#4. I only tried wine twice in JA and it sucked. I would say wine is out, try beer or better yet "magnum".

@Eco-- I'm not going to post a picture!
I think I will look into Hedo since from what i hear people there have an open mind about stuff I like.

Jamaican men are pretty open minded, but you still need to be careful, they may cling on to you if they think you will spend a lot on them, so be careful. I bought this book recently, you can also download too i think. It is called: Masculine Gender Role Stress and Anger in Jamaican Men by Kaycie-Ann Lynch. It gives you a good idea of the issues Jamaican men have. Hope this helps!
