Jefferson Airplane is so cool I thought they deservied a thread of their own.
The first video is tittled - It’s no secreat – I figure it’s the greatest love song ever wrtten.
The second video is tittled - Got a revolution Got to revolution – it’s an Ok song but you can’t dance to it. The video does show some interesting and definning moments in history so I included it. Cheers and enjoy!

It's No Secret

Got a revolution Got to revolution

What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

Well, this is certainly a trip (no pun intended) down memory lane. Volunteers was a great album--one of my all-time favorites, still is. There're some terrific stoner, early acid rock cuts on that album. I used to have one of their albums when they went by the name of Grace Slick and The Great Society (the album was the same title), before they became Jefferson Airplane. I think Jerry Garcia (of Grateful Dead fame) was part of the group then. In my opinion, those two albums were the beginning of the San Francisco sound.
