Legalising Ganja in Jamaica

I'm all for it (not a shocker)! I think as more of the states introduce liberal Ganja laws the US will no longer be in a position to push Jamaica around in regards to their Ganja laws.

IMO, it's good for tourism and the gov can tax the heck out of it.

I think Ganja should be legalise in Jamaica, the crime rate would somewhat go down. Locals don't have to hide and plant or sell it anymore. OMG! jamaica would be overpapulated with tourist, well it would be good for the country. I never understand why the "HERB" was illegal in the first place.

But I rather enjoy the thrill of furtive deals with shady characters and doing something that's banned or illegal...maybe even risky. If it's legalized, how am I supposed to get my thrills then?

And if they ever legalize the herb here in the US--like they're trying to do in California--I'd be the first on my block to plant a victory garden, but then there'd be the problem of lowlife scumbags stealing my crop. When I had a half-plot in our community garden, I had a hard enough time with deer mowing down my new plants and human sleazeballs stealing my lovingly grown tomatoes and zuchinni squashes. Ganja trees wouldn't stand a chance!

In MA it's just a parking ticket of sorts so long as you only have less than an ounce on you. Even with our very nice laws I don't walk down my street in broad daylight with a spliff hanging from my mouth...............I walk down the street with a joint since I can't find good spliff rolling paper around here. <----Kidding, I smoke out of a bowl and I never walk down the street with it, lol I might have to share it with my neighbors.

I've always been partial to bongs myself, taking care to change the water daily--3-day-old bong water is just plain nasty!
