My Little Miracle

Bear with me folks as I don't usually do 'baby stuff' but this one is special. Just wanted to show you the most precious thing in mine and my families life. Most of you probably know my nephew died 8 months ago and left a huge gap in our lives. But the little stud muffin left us a precious piece of his life who was born to his gf on April 1st. This is Jayden James I'm the first to admit all babies are ugly and I actually hate babies. So don't feel obliged to pipe in with how cute and beautiful he is and stuff. I won't be offended - I just wanna show him off! lolol. But I friggin love him to death and thank my nephew for leaving us a boy to look after now we can no longer look after him. aww aint he cute! lol I'm the happiest great aunty in the world!

Thanks Bajan - my nephew Jamie was 22 when he died of an accidental overdose of valium last August. Thats him in my siggie pic. He was a huge character and was a naughty boy from birth to age 22 lol. He is very much missed but having his son here now is very much helping the healing process.

Ta Mr Eco. Well I don't do babysitting until they are at least 10 months old (they frighten the the brown stuff that floats in the toilet outta me), but when he starts walking and talking and getting a personality I will enjoy getting to know him - only then maybe will he stop being a replacement Jamie but a whole new person for us to love. That will be the best tribute we can give Jamie - to love his son unconditionally.

Oh Siz, I did not realize so very very sorry. Cherish the little one. Out of tragedy come a silver lining.

Thanks hun - and you're right, without this silver lining it WOULD have been a tragedy. I really don't know how we all would have felt if we didn't have this new child. Not everyone who has lost someone is this lucky to be blessed with such a gift. He will be the most loved baby in the world.

Thanks Tinks. He is a little bundle of giggles and a right fat chubster. I'm still scared the brown stuff that floats in the toilet of him cos hes one of those 'baby' things and I never know what to say to someone who doesn't talk back. But the funny thing is if you hold him up to look at the foto on the wall of his Dad and say 'wheres Daddy' he starts smiling.
