Bajanbabe wrote:You know Jels, it brings back memories of when Bob died, sort of surreal. I don’t normally pay any attention to the death of celebrities because after all mi nuh know dem, so I don’t normally have any emotion. However, with Bob, Princes Di and Now Michael, you kind of feel a sense of sadness about their loss. Anyway, I don’t think we will be privileged in our era, to ever witnessing anyone even coming even close to the talent that Michael had. It is a shame he has gone so soon.

Bajanbabe, your right I can't remember ever feeling this way about the death of a celebrities as I do now for Michael.

Could "The King of Pop" have been considered the most famous person in the world? With global album sales somewhere between 700-750 million, a career that spanned nearly 50 years, two widely covered pedophilia charges and various charitable contributions... Michael Jackson, quite possibly, was the most famous person in the world.

Michael JacksonHis popularity caused big problems for some of the Internet's more popular sites as rumors began to swirl about his rumored death.

Famed celebrity news site TMZ was the first to break the news of Michael Jackson's death. People from all over the world rushed to the site to see the news for their own eyes. Due to the mass amounts of traffic TMZ began experiencing erratic downtimes, which left people searching other sites for confirmation.

AOL, owner of TMZ, released the following statement about the downtime...

"Today was a seminal moment in Internet history. We've never seen anything like it in terms of scope or depth. Historically, celebrity news prompts a worldwide outpouring with several key consumer behaviors – searching, sharing and reacting to the news followed by online tributes has become the modern way to mourn. Princess Diana was the first notable Internet example. Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett are the latest.

With other sites such as CNN reporting that Jackson was still alive but in a coma, that only added fuel to the fire, as people wanted to know the truth. Sadly in the end, TMZ was correct.

Paris brought tears to my eyes, he realy loves his kids. When i saw his casket that when it realy hits me, he gone for good. The memorial was very tasteful, what i hope for the kids is that there lives will not get out of control when they became young adults...get ready for the costudy battle.

Poor Blanket! He's the only one without a mother, he has not history so far. If the Grandmother lost costudy of the kids where would Blanket go? very sad.

The whole family seemed so close, it would be a shame if the judge split them up.
Do we even know if Debbie Rowe saw the kids after she "signed them over"?

Word has it she has never seen the kids since she signed them over, dont know if it's true. In my opinion Debbie was after one thing and one thing only $$$$$!!!!

You know what....MJ was amazing. Yeah he was different...but when has different been a bad thing. He had a innocent mind...almost like a child in some ways and I guess people never understood how someone could be so innocent, and how someone could relate more to children than adults without it being sexual. Just goes to show how peverted and twisted our world is when a poor innocent man gets dragged through the courts for being childlike.

Those kids were lucky...I bet MJ gave them more love and adoration that just about any kid on the face of this earth. I'd rather see them go to the jacksons....but I'd also hate to see MJ's father get them. I bet he'd exploit them horribly. When asked about his son at the BETS...instead of answering he goes 'this is my friend and we own a record label...that's what I'd like to say". No tears...no memories of MJ...just business. So sad! The mom seems ok though!! Or give them to Janet or one of the brothers....they loved MJ and would raise them to have bits of there father with them always!!

I hope the world remembers MJ as a man who truley loved others..and all humanity and one who signifigantly lowered racial barriars and somewhat paved the way. First artist to ever be a beloved of every race and skin color. And one who gave back to this world in every way possible and tried to make a difference in everything he did. He was a beautiful soul...and shame on those who want to take that away from him by believing gold diggers and media! I don't even think MJ would have it in him to harm a child in anyway even at gunpoint or torture!
