Nature and global warming:

Postby Nanoose » Tue Jan 04, 2011 2:32 pm

The Black bears on Vancouver Island have already starting coming out of hibernation –
it’s a couple months early but I have heard of that happening in the past. What makes it strange this year is a lot of the mother bears are abandoning their cubs and leaving them to die which is very uncommon and strange. The Wild life centers don’t know why this is happening but I have a couple of theories.

#1 – The bears are cranky because of lack of sleep.

#2 – There are too many positive charged air ion’s in the atmosphere.

Studies have shown that exposure to too many positive charged air ions can cause head aces and nausea in humans so maybe its effecting wild life in ways we don’t understand.

Cheers and Happy New Year!

Hmm, they would not go into hibernation without enough food/fat build up. A steady stream of warm days so not only the surface air warms up but their den floors and walls as well?

In regards to the clubs, maybe not enough food around for them and better to kill them off than to compete? Nanoose, are you killing their rabbits and picking all of their berries?

I think there are plenty of fish for them to eat – so maybe to get to the bottom of it we will have to sneak into bear deans next winter and get samples of milk from the mother bears. For years I have been noticing changes in animal behavior maybe its not all just because of globule warming but I am pretty sure man is playing a part in it. Cheers!

Well tomorrow is Earth day and the general idea is to shut your lights off and think about the environment. Cheers!

This is more about nature then globule warming – today I seen a pair of Bald eagles teaching their young how to use the air streams and air currents and it was way cool and kind of amassing how quickly the baby eagle learned things.
What I thought was extra special was I seen one of the adults do an aerial move that I have never seen before it was gliding and came to a stop – then it starting gliding backwards at a very slow speed. (I seen them to the stop thing many times but not the backwards thing)
It’s the time of year when the baby eagles start leaving the nest –just about time the baby deer will be making an appearance too.
Were it might start being a bit about globule warming is – there were only 2 young eagles – there usually is 4. When I start seeing more eagles out with their young and they also have less young I will probably start pointing my finger at global warming (I blame ever thing on global warming).
Cheers!

Global warming is major problem in all over the world. Due to global warming is effects on our climate and nature. Its damage to our historical place. So we can try to reduce global warming as use grow more trees, use paper bag and so on.
