Good beat! Is the video part original or was it created after MTV became popular?

I’m not sure but I figure its an original made in the late 70s by Sniff ‘n’ the tears. I looked at a few other videos of Drivers Seat and they were mostly photos of cars driving around a city and that’s not what the song is really about. I am starting to wonder if New Wave changed videos - like started making interesting or enlightening visual to go with the music – before new wave videos were just the bands performing at concerts est.

I feel silly now because I used to think the song was about scoring. But it is really about Dominos pizza.- you can see the delivery guy standing by the amplifier in the last part of the video. I thought it was pretty cool that it was filmed by Andy Warhol. Cheers and happy New Year!
