Sometimes when my 2 teenage sons wined and complaned too much – I would crank up my Horses alblum and say to them – what I can’t hear you I’m listing to Patti Smith.

Patricia Lee "Patti" Smith (born December 30, 1946) is an American singer–songwriter, poet and visual artist, who became a highly influential component of the New York City punk rock movement with her 1975 debut album Horses. Called the "Godmother of Punk" she integrated the beat poetry performance style with three-chord rock. Smith's most widely known song is "Because the Night", which was co-written with Bruce Springsteen and reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1978. In 2005, Patti Smith was named a Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture and in 2007, she was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “Wikpedia”
Cheers and happy weekend!

What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.

my older sis educated me on Pattis Smith too. good stuff.
I intrigue more people in real life than I do in cyberspace. What I WILL do is to capitalize on their attraction to me.If I set out to take advantage of anyone's attraction, its simply for the benefit of God's kingdom.People such as myself, whether we try or not, will always radiate some kinda attraction that men find alluring.my message to those who find it annoying "Don't hate".

When I first heard this Patti Smith song I had mixed emotions about it because it contained the “N” word. But the more I heard it the more I could see that there was nothing wrong about it because the song (in my opion) is about inproving the future with the unity of brother hood no matter what race, color or creed. The song also contains a bit of profanity so I didn’t include the youtube box just the link and I would like to hear opions on the song. Cheers!
