Photos and stories about your back yard

Postby Nanoose » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:28 pm

The favorite part of my back yard is my BBQ area - I have cooked lots on the BBQ below including a chocolate cake. The other photo is a way I recycle – the planter is an old BBQ. Cheers!

Ya I love it (even have an old truck bench seat to relax on) - the one stove is great for pancakes and eggs. It’s only half the picture on the other side is another iron stove.

( here is another link so that you can see the hole thing) Cheers!

That's not a Sesame Street character, GG. That's Bigfoot! Probably dropping in to smoke a bowl with Nanoose.

No that’s my carved liver worst cougar trap – I want to catch a cougar and BBQ it up.
Were starting to get cougars around here – I am starting to see their tracks kind of cool but kind of scary because I have a couple of dogs that think their the toughest things around.

Cheers!

PS - its really not a cougar trap.

Well I was hoping to hear about some back yard stories – so I will start.
Behind my BBQ is my vegetable garden – ever year I try to grow a giant pumpkin in it but the best I have done so far is a huge pumpkin (but not giant). I have carried tons of peat moss from the bog to the garden but I just can’t seem to grow a giant pumpkin.
One night I caught a couple of neighbors in my pumpkin patch - they told me they were lost – I didn’t believe them (they were looking for pot) so I told them if I ever catch them in my pumpkin patch again I will bury them in the peat moss bog – dig them up in 30 years and call them mummy. (peat moss bogs have persevering properties). It took them a minute to get what I meant but they never came back. Cheers!

I have taken my 5 babies off of the balcony (due to the fact that I dont have a back yard) and placed them under a very special light in my walk in closet... I am about to start naming dem.. any suggestions Nano?

Well – I am presuming that they would be all girl names. (you don’t want no nasty males around you’re female babies).
Naming them is easy the hard part is - now you got to start lying to them. You have to take each baby aside once a week and tell it things like – you’re my favorite if you hurry up and mature I will take you in the “special” room with me.
The special room is really just the hanging and drying room but you don’t want your babies to now that.

Actually the hard part might be moving your babies from sun light to artificial light.

Cheers!

Yeah, keep them on the same light cycle!
