So the purpose of this thread is just so I can track the airfare rates for my vacation this fall.
Tonight's lowest price was $381 after checking 4-5 sites but excluding spiritair.com since they will not fly out on the day I want.

At least you folks can drive to Vegas or fly there within an hour or two! Plus if I'm not mistaken you can get "cards" to legally buy herb in California![]()
You can, indeed, get a medical card to buy. It is, however, still a violation of Federal Law, and if the Feds decide to throw their weight around (and they have a few times in the past), it can get a bit ugly.
I just checked and the non spirit airlines price is still at $310 for my trip.
From November of this year the APD tax will increase from £40.00 per person to £50.00 per person. However, from November 2010 it will increase by a whopping £25.00 per person. This means that a family of 4 will have to £300.00 in APD alone!! Those travelling in the Premium cabins will need to pay even more. The way the tax is worked out is completely unfair as it is based on the flying distance from London to that countries capital. Therefore the whole of the USA falls into band B because of the distance from London to Washington whereas the Caribbean falls into band C. This means that the tax is cheaper to fly to Hawaii or San Francisco than it is to fly to any of the Caribbean Islands despite being further from London.
It really isn't fair. $140 of my fare is taxes. Plus the airline charges to check bags (So I'm not checking one).
