Thanks, the kids had a blast all day. A few more of them with their faces painted and then Lauren finally doing flips on the bungee thing.

A few black and white photos. I love to shoot in black and white (no PP) but the mid day sun and the dark interior of the pub gave me some challenges.

Sort of comical, after a couple beers........ that's a lie..........after several beers I sat in a chair in the pub to shoot some pictures of the ceiling and one of the legs on my chair fell through the rotten out floor. At first I thought it was just me being drunk and falling off the my chair, oh well at least I drank all of their Red Stripe beer.

Thanks, I love to shoot in black and white but I seldom post any of the pictures anywhere since most people like color shots. For me changing a color photo into BW is cheating so once I switch to BW on my camera there is no going back.

Lol, after 4 years of gymnastics and whatever those classes cost I'm thrilled that she is finally doing flips on that bungee thing. I might give the thing a ride in the morning if they allow adults just to see what I can do on it. They also have a rock climbing wall so if she is up to it I might teach her how to climb. 15 years ago I taught myself to free climb on the cliffs in Maine.

Did you get any pics of the redneck's wife, or did he make her stay in the pickup truck?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but while you were in Rockland, the kid nextdoor stole all your socks.

Be a pal and pick me up one of them old lobster traps. Slap a glass top on it, and it'll make a wonderful coffee table in my livingroom. (My GF had one in her cabin.)

Pick me up a couple of them lobster trap buoys, too. They're so decorative...and would go great with my anchor.

Wahoo, I'm not sure they sell the old ones or if they do I've never seen any for sale. BTW, your Danforth anchor and that one tent spike on your bookcase....an odd collection. :scratchheadblue:

Oh, that tent spike...one of these days I'll get around to putting it with the others in the bag with my tent (which I bought at the big Bean store while visiting the GF years ago, incidentally). Till that time, it just occupies that corner of my bookcase, gathering dust (obviously). But it'll be handy if I'm ever attacked by a vampire and need a stake to drive thru the vampire's heart.

Yes, that is a shark and on the left of the display you can see his tail sticking up. Last year we were playing with the sharks teeth until they told us that we could get some infection.

Finally back home until I head to western MA in another 14 hours.

If you pass thru Stockbridge, you gotta stop by The Red Lion Inn for a drink (and have one for me while you're at it)--a wonderful, elegant old inn. If you pass thru Lenox, you might want to keep driving past The Village Inn. Had an unpleasant stay there years ago. But who knows, maybe they've cleaned up their act since then.

I think Stockbridge is along my way but I get that confused with Sturbridge.
