A few pictures that I took of a waterfall In Lincoln Rhode Island today.

No, once the two lovers got pissed at me taking pictures and left the swans swam away. I just noticed that my second picture has them on the upper right side.

Imagine that scenic dam torn down, which is what's happening to such historic dams all across the country, as so-called conservation groups and "concerned citizens" demand their removal "for restoration of the natural habitat." Happened a few years ago to just such a historic (177-year-old) dam--scene of many of my most cherished childhood memories--in my hometown in central Va. Click on the link for a look.

I actually support ripping down man made dams to let the salmon return to their natural egg laying areas.


The truth of the matter is that it's a pain in the ass to carry a canoe full of beer around them instead of just being able to paddle down the rivers like God intended.
