saltwater fly fishing

hi everybody,can you tell me about fly fishing for bonefish tarpon and permit in Jamaica as the web says it is not good due to net fishing.thanks for your help all c u soon ricki

What part of Jamaica are you traveling to?

I have friends on the north coast that fly fish and know of charters out of the Negril area but I don't think they offer fly fishing. Most---not all----of the coast area is over fished so you have to get out in the ocean a little and that limits the amount of people fly fishing at the same time on a boat. With that said, my friends on the north coast went fishing with me on a 22 foot boat and all three of us managed to cast without hooking each other while stripped bass fishing in Rhode Island.
