We ought to have a JAB "Where Did Eco Hide His Stash?" Contest. I counted at least a dozen ideal places inside and outside his penthouse suite (13 if you count the top of the palm tree).

Minus 10 points if you guessed the top wooden slat of the window. That's the first place I'd look!

I'll keep my eyes out for gators but I'm still more concerned about the sea urchins.

Eco, if you didn't do the snorkel/fishing/cliff boat ride thing yet, you might check out Captain Moses, who's on the beach right outside Alfred's Ocean Palace I think (or very close-by). I can't vouch for him personally, 'cause I've never availed myself of his services, but he's highly recommended by posters on TA to deliver the most bang for your buck (and if TA says it's so, you know it's reliable).

You know, if my plans hadn't gone awry, I'd be arriving in Negril early tomorrow afternoon. Around 1:30 or 2:00, I would think. I was looking forward to us, at least, hoisting a few beers together someplace and oogling the local gyals. Another time, I guess...

Keep those installments of the trip report coming. And if you need bail money or enough $$$ for the departure tax, give GG or me a call, and we'll pass the hat for a collection.

My stash is in my refrig, if I hide it I will never find it!

I've been writing a long winded trip report but it needs some major edits before I publish it.

Have you ever wondered what happens when you ride on the back of a scooter with 4 people on it.......and you tire blows out? I know the answer :tease: In one of the pictures below you can see the damage to the front of my knee, the sides of my leg and arm are missing some skin....... other than that It was an interesting experience :dreads:

Doing really good with money down here! Buying cases of Red Stripes for $2100 including deposit.....making my own food......finding cheap herbs.....trading clothes and stuff for stuff I need.

At first I thought the bow of that boat was on fire, and I thought "WTF!" :yipes:

I'm getting deja vu all over again looking at that pic of your effed-up knee (as it's been a year almost to the day since I left the skin of my knee on the reef at Canoe). You might be able to snag some sympathy sex if you play your cards right. ;-)

Ev'ery Time (? on name) is a cool place to hang out next to the Canoe <---gotta remember to post some pictures of it.

Spoke to GG on the phone today!

Eco, is that Laurence Fishburne in pic #1? Looks just like Laurence Fishburne (who, IMHO, should have won some kind of film industry award for his role in Searching for Bobby Fischer, one of my all-time favorite flicks).

I forgot, GG- I don't sound Jamaican :neener: it's just that you lost your island accent!

Some pictures of my road rash, I'll take a picture of the giant bruise on my butt in the morning. There is a chance the bruise might be from something else :scratchheadblue:

On a bright note I found a internet cafe for $150 per 30 minutes.......then the cheap bastard in me decided to spend the time to get Jah B's wireless working. The only issue now is she does not have a wireless card for her desktop so I have to unplug the network when I'm done.....meaning no off hours free wireless :-(

Random experiment: a beach vendor played Bob Marley songs for an hour or two last night and I offered him $500 as a tip tonight or $1000 if he wants to wait a day. The guy who works at the bar confirmed that I was there a few times a day.........so what $$$ did he pick?

Saw 2 adults and three kids on a motor bike today.......and someone sweeping a sand/gravel/rock driveway........actually started to pass slow Jamaican drivers on my scooter......still can't figure out how to drive around the round about/rotary===== I take the first exit on the left and continue until I reach where I need to go :-)

Pissed off tourists leaving Ricks who thought they owned the whole street....blowing my horn and speeding up while they yelled at me to slow down....calling me some names....

Learned that Bumbaclot is now used like the f word in the states, it can be used to express anger, excitement and every other emotion.

Bumbaclot---I'm still in Jamaica :-)

Almost forgot--- I took some nude photos with my zoom lens of people on the cliffs while out doing a waterfront boat tour--- Wahoo, let me know if it's ok to e-mail them to you....I blurred out the faces to protect the sleeping sunbathers.

Yikes! You really did a number on your leg/arm/butt! Just rub some dirt in it, and you'll be fine. Seriously now, as a medical doctor, I'd recommend liberal applications of Neosporin ointment, if you can find any--though a small tube might cost you an arm and a leg (if you can't find any Neosporin, the doctor recommends a big chunk of Tedd's ganja cake).
