Have you guys heard much about Emancipation Park? It's a pretty cool place, a nice little oasis in Kingston.

Somewhere on here someone posted pictures last year. While the park looks nice, where it's located is not on my bucket list of places to visit in Jamaica. I'm glad to see that they keep up on it and that it's not covered with spray paint like Sam Sharpe square in Mobay or Columbus' monument in St Ann.....tagging upsets me!

It is really a beautiful place in Kingston. It is an ideal place for a day out. The park area maintains as well, in addition the huge variety of floral display makes to park more admirable and creates a cool atmosphere.

The park is located close to New Kingston, which is known as the "Hip Strip of Kingston". There are numerous night clubs along the strip. Such as Quad, Escape and the Pure:Plush Lounge. The park is right across from the Pegasus Hotel.

The park is well kept and have many benches for a relaxing day out.
