ECO, the veggie chunks looks like meat. What kind of veggies did he use? Other than the carrot and onion I don't recognize the brown suff.

The brown stuff is the "veggie chunks". It tasted so good I could not believe it was not meat but I've talked to several people since who claim it's a soy based product. I guess we can buy it in the states at Whole Foods (never heard of them).

And all this time I thought all that's on the street side of Alfred's is...well, street! I had no idea there's a jerk stand there. I'll check it out on my next trip.

Eco, if we're ever in Negril at the same time again, I'll bring the chopsticks. I got enough chopsticks to open my own Chinese restaurant. I didn't realize how often I have Chinese/Japanese/Thai carryout until I saw the dozens of pairs of unused chopsticks I've accumulated (I always re-use the same pair--so wasteful to discard them after using them)!

I'll even pack a couple dozen pairs of chopticks to give to Fanso to have on-hand when he has yankee customers who eat Jamaican food with chopsticks. :rolling:

Bring him some wooden bowls as well.

Here's one of my meals that I made for less than $1.00

Hello ECO,

You have done great job! Thanks for sharing with us.

I have eaten at Fanso without doubt it has huge variety of quality foods and I’m really miss it. The fish and goat meal’s sound were so delectable.

Best Regards,
