Waking up from my power nap and turning on the telly to find that I'd slept thru almost the entire FIFA World Cup England vs USA game.

Went to watch my son's band play at a popular Louisiana-style bar & grill close to the George Mason University campus Saturday night. Only a modest $5.00 cover charge, but I'm still in shock over the prices they charged for beer. $17.00 for a pitcher of beer! I the brown stuff that floats in the toilet you not! For a moment, I thought I was in Canada! Simply outrageous!

One of the appetizers offered was Alligator Bites (in a sherry sauce), which I was tempted to try, but: (1) it was way too overpriced and (2) nobody else in our party had the nads to partake if I decided that reptile is not to my liking. But I did have the Delta Delight (fried oyster po'boy with potatoes prepared in the french fashion), which I at first thought was overpriced, but when it was served, I realized was a bargain--the platter was so large, I couldn't finish it (which, if you know me, is saying a lot). And tasty, too!

Even so, I'm still seething over thos $17.00 pitchers of Blue Moon...

Humid weather! This morning it was only 75 degrees but with all of the moisture from a storm last night it felt like 90 or maybe even 100! By noon it was only 85 degrees but it felt hotter with that darn moisture and lack of wind. Honestly, I was more uncomfortable today than any day I've ever spent in Mexico or Jamaica.

I think a trip to the desert is in order :-)

People who need to buy 10+ scratch tickets and multiple lotto tickets when I'm standing in line to buy a simple coffee. Even worse is when the fukers think it ok to scratch them while I'm waiting.

These signs in places where I want to take pictures.

Last year I got caught taking a picture of a sign just like this and felt a little embarrassed, this year I was sneaky and turned off the lights on my camera :-)

Lol, nope at the traveling exhibit at the museum of science in Boston. They always have a few security dudes walking around to make sure nobody takes pictures of what they are displaying. GENERALLY places like that are picky about flash photography which I can understand since old prints and such are REALLY sensitive to light.....but at the MOS+traveling displays it all about keeping the display hush hush so people have to pay to see it.

I spend way too much time at http://carlosmiller.com/ looking at the rights of photographers..... unpaid plug, his site rocks.

My Dell keyboard (both at work and at home). On both keyboards, the letters I, O, K, L, N, and a couple of others have completely worn off the keys. Yesterday I tried to type "October," and it came out "Ictiber"! :yipes: Instead of applied letters that with time rub off the keys, why doesn't Dell produce a keyboard with recessed letters so they won't rub off as easily?

I wrote to POTUS about this problem, and his reply was, "I blame Bush." :scratchheadblue:

Well rent a bunch of psycho movies and pretend to root for the killers and say things like I understand why he killed him. Cheers!

I was also thinking that if you made a continues loop of this song and played it 24/7 it might make your boy friend figure its time to make like a bird and flock off. Cheers!
