I tried not to laugh...

On the drive home today, was stalled in rush-hour traffic across from the MVC Late Night adult video store in Springfield (the one next to the Asian massage parlor--yeah, it's a real classy area). What grabbed my attention was the elderly Asian couple and pre-teen kid exiting their car in front of an adult video store and headed for the entrance--obviously, grandparents taking their grandson out to the local video store for a couple of CDs. Grandpa apparently was completely oblivious to the lurid nude female mannequins displayed in the store's front windows and was halfway through the entrance, with grandson on his heels, when the kid abruptly stopped--clearly suddenly aware than this was no ordinary family-oriented video store. The kid said something to grandpa, who--looking like a deer caught in the headlights--quickly backed out of the entrance, motioning the boy back to the car.

If grandpa only knew about the massage parlor nextdoor--and what goes on there--he'd probably be back later, after dropping grandma and junior off at the house.

Maybe grandpa did go back and got the best massage that he has had in a long time. Wonder what the kid had to say to his buddies at school and if any of his buddies called
him stupid for telling grandpa and not getting a video. Cheers!

Lol, I would love to be a fly on the wall when the boy's parents find out about the grandparents bringing him to the pron store.
