Today I was thinking about the Grinch that got away and I swear by all that is jolly it won’t happen again. Cheers and Merry Christmas!

I was going to post this in the - things that annoy you but shouldn’t - thread but I started thinking that maybe it was more of a Santa Clause type of thing so I posted it here.

For the last 3 Saturdays I have been finding chocolate Easter eggs in one of my grounds keeping customers fenced in flower / vegetable garden areas.
It is a bit annoying to have to bend down and pick them up but I really don’t mind because it might be Santa Clause working in mysterious ways.
The customer and I have both half heartily joked that maybe it is the Easter bunny but I think we both know that that is just tooth fairy talk because there is no such thing as a Easter bunny
I figure it could be Santa Clause working on full filling a Christmas wish because were I find the chocolate Easter eggs is in the bed that the gourds are growing in and those gourds have been doing incredibly well in the last 3 weeks.
And as the gourds grow so will the customers Christmas Spirit because the gourds are part of their Christmas decorating traditions. Another one of their traditions is adopting children in 3rd world Countries. And maybe this year because their gourds are so big they will adopt the twines that wished to be adopted last Christmas.
Cheers and Merry Christmas to all!

This week end I will be scratching the first thing off my Christmas to do list.
I bring 2 of my finest cords of fire wood into the house for the Christmas season. (Dec. 1st to Feb. 1st)
Well I am bringing it into the house I sing that song about the good King who gathered winter fuel and I think it gives a bit of Christmas magic to the fire wood because it produces a very high BTU count and the flames have more brighter colors then non Christmas wood. Merry Christmas!

Every December we send a Christmas parcel to our son and his fiancée in Saskatchewan.
This year one of the things in the parcel is a piggy bank jar that counts the change.
I figured the empty space in the jar was a waste of parcel space so we should fill it up with something – the wife suggested a jar of her home made plum jam and the Grinche in me was glad that the jam jar didn’t fit through the mouth of the piggy bank (the jam is heavy so it would of brought up the cost of shipping).
Then the wife suggested socks and the Grinches in me sarcastically replied – ya socks are a fun Christmas present.
Then my heart was filled with the spirit of Christmas and I got the strength of 10 Grinches and figured that the jar will be filled with a sparkling snow man craft kit with a illustrated step by step assembly diagram that I will draw.

Example

Step 1 – Push a 4” sparkler though the center of the large styro foam ball
(then I would draw the ball and sparkler.

Step 2 – Push the medium sized styro foam ball on to the sparkler. (drawing)

Step 3 - Push the small sized styro foam ball on to the sparkler. (drawing)

Step 4 –Use the tooth picks and the other combustible material included in this kit to decorate your sparkling snow man. (drawing)

Step 5 – Bring your sparkling snow man out side and place it in a clear area:

(optional step) Build a Christmas bon fire by your sparkling snow man with tooth picks - not included in this kit: (drawing)

Then I will have some lighting steps and some safety warnings. One of the warnings will be that the burring styro foam balls may cause toxic fumes so it is advised that you hold your new Christmas socks over your nose well the sparkling snow man is burning.
Then I will make a drawing and show it to the wife for a Christmas hoot.

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

I was just thinking that a cool decorating material to include in the sparkling snow man kit would be a roll of cap gun caps they could make a belt for their sparkling snow man. Cheers and Merry Cristmas!
