Every December we send a Christmas parcel to our son and his fiancée in Saskatchewan.
This year one of the things in the parcel is a piggy bank jar that counts the change.
I figured the empty space in the jar was a waste of parcel space so we should fill it up with something – the wife suggested a jar of her home made plum jam and the Grinche in me was glad that the jam jar didn’t fit through the mouth of the piggy bank (the jam is heavy so it would of brought up the cost of shipping).
Then the wife suggested socks and the Grinches in me sarcastically replied – ya socks are a fun Christmas present.
Then my heart was filled with the spirit of Christmas and I got the strength of 10 Grinches and figured that the jar will be filled with a sparkling snow man craft kit with a illustrated step by step assembly diagram that I will draw.
Example
Step 1 – Push a 4” sparkler though the center of the large styro foam ball
(then I would draw the ball and sparkler.
Step 2 – Push the medium sized styro foam ball on to the sparkler. (drawing)
Step 3 - Push the small sized styro foam ball on to the sparkler. (drawing)
Step 4 –Use the tooth picks and the other combustible material included in this kit to decorate your sparkling snow man. (drawing)
Step 5 – Bring your sparkling snow man out side and place it in a clear area:
(optional step) Build a Christmas bon fire by your sparkling snow man with tooth picks - not included in this kit: (drawing)
Then I will have some lighting steps and some safety warnings. One of the warnings will be that the burring styro foam balls may cause toxic fumes so it is advised that you hold your new Christmas socks over your nose well the sparkling snow man is burning.
Then I will make a drawing and show it to the wife for a Christmas hoot.
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
What's pushing us apart isn't loneliness what's holding us together isn't love. Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool. Where is that savoir of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades? We still got along way to go yes we still got a along way to go.
