What’s your favorite insect?

Not sure if it is because I am lazy or because I am perverted but I spent most of my work day watching dragon flies mating. (they do some pretty impressive aerial moves)
If I was Doctor Doolittle I would have a dragon fly gang to keep the mosquitoes off my back.
There are a few interesting stages that a dragon fly goes through to get to it’s adult stage so included a video. Cheers!

One of the joys of those sticky hot Virginia summers for me--aside from the sweet fragrance of honeysuckle--has always been chasing the lightning bugs (fireflys) at night, with they luminous bellies blinking on and off.
