What does it cost for a gallon of homogenized milk in your

Postby Nanoose » Thu Apr 08, 2010 9:57 pm

Full Title
What does it cost for a gallon of homogenized milk in your Country? And RoundUp the Herbicide.

Today my grounds keeping customer was telling me that he figures that well they were in Arizona for the winter. they were getting their groceries for about ½ the cost of what they pay in Canada.. Because my life revolves around homogenize milk (and most dairy products) I considered moving to Arizona so I could drink twice the amount of homogenized milk.

I pay $4.99 for 4 liters of .homogenized milk and I am curious what you pay for a gallon or 4 liters of homogenized milk. ( not 2% or skim just homogenized please)

As far as the RoundUp goes this will be the second year that I don’t have to watch people spraying it around their yards like it was as harmless as homogenized milk to kill the weeds in their yard. 2 years ago RoundUp was banned from store shelf’s in Canada and I was glad because I figured it gave me a better chance of not getting contaminated- and living a little longer so I could drink more homogenized milk.

Also curious if RoundUp is sold on store shelves in your Country. Cheers!

The last time I bought milk was in 1987! At the time I worked on a farm and only drank "REAL MILK"= right from the holding tank before they do weird stuff to it. I must of tried milk 100 times since then and I hate the watered down taste.

BTW, I just got back from our grocery store 2 hours ago.....if you posted this earlier I could of checked the price.

No milk since 1987? Not even in your coffee? I get milk only to add to my morning coffee and a couple of recipes. For years I drank only black coffee--no milk, no sugar, no nothing. But now I can't drink coffee without milk or cream--still no sugar, though. When I was a kid, some distant relatives on my father's side of the family had a farm outside Richmond. Spent a day there once. My distant cousins called me "city boy." Milked a cow (yes, Wahoo has actually milked a cow!), gathered fresh eggs from the hen house, helped with the tobacco curing, watched the birthing of a calf...there're a few hilarious stories there that I might relate some other time.

Milk in coffee? No, and I don't have a rainbow colored bumper sticker on my pick up truck!

I can go anywhere in the US and get black coffee.......24/7/365 I can buy black coffee. The same can not be said about coffee with real milk, you might get stuck with the powdered stuff or low fat. Since I fear powered milk I'll stick with black.

Last week when I was in New York I brought milk for my sister and I paid $3.99 for a gallon.

I still can't get over the fact that Canadians call homogenized milk "homo milk." :jestercolor:

Well the reason Canadians call it homo milk is because Canadian milk contains lots of hormones and these hormones cause Canadian woman to become well endowed.
The rumor is that the hormones are put in the milk by the Catholic Church to end homosexuality – their logic is once all the Canadian woman are well endowed the homosexuals won’t be able to not notice then and then convert. Cheers!

Wonder if, next time I'm in Jamaica, I'll be refused service if I ask for coffee with lots of homo milk? :scratchheadblue:
