Every time I watch a Negril sunset, I think of this tune:

That tune reminded me of one of my old seduction lines: "You are most definitely eye candy...and boy do I have a sweet tooth!" :bs:

Actually, a gal in my first-grade class was named Candy. The hottest girl in the whole first grade! Ran into her at a beach party at Virginia Beach after my senior year of high school, and boy did we ever have a sordid reunion in the sand dunes! ;-) (OK, I'm exaggerating some...but not much!)

Was it just a sand box and not a sand dune? Cheers and happy week end!

After I posted this I stated thinking that maybe it might be misunderstood because of the sand box thing and were they are usually located. But I was just joking that you were exaggerating about the amount of sand – like there’s just a little in a sand box but lots in a sand dune. Any way I am now hoping that you were just being modest and in reality you gave Candy on that she still remembers to is day .Cheers and happy weekend!

Today well I was supposed to be working I though about the world economy and the all the Countries that are in financial trouble. Then I started thinking about the a 70s song Paper Money by Montrose and goggled it when I got home. It doesn’t change the world economy but I thought I would share it anyway. Cheers and enjoy!

Speaking of Candy (earlier in this thread), remember this tune by Iggy Pop and Kate Pierson?

Well I must be getting old and square because I had forgotten about this song - I even kind of forgot about Iggy Pop – pretty soon I will be wearing pajamas in the day time.
The code was disabled on the video so I added a link to another one. Cheers!

I must be turning girly-man or something 'cause I get all emo every time Kelley Clarkson starts crooning this tune:

Had it stuck in my head all day today.

That's a big change 'cause I had Pink Floyd's Pigs stuck in my head all weekend.

I was searching for youtube videos about early Canadian pioneer songs to post on facebook and came across this video by a 60s Jamaican band the Pioneers so I thought I would post it here. Cheers!

There's a little bodega I stop off at now and then after work, and there's always 2 or 3 guys ahead of me in the checkout line plopping down $20...$40...$60...a pop for scratch-off tickets. I get steamed 'cause my beer's getting warm while they take forever to pick and pay for their lottery tickets. Damn fools, I think to myself, just pissing their money away...even though I'm throwing away my money on beer, which will only be pissed away.

I used to buy scratch-off tickets as X-mas stocking-stuffer gifts for friends and relatives, but I've never bought one for myself--knowing how unlucky I am at love and games of chance. Like the only time I ever visited a casino. On the last night of a trip to Punta Cana a few years ago, I had about 1,000 Dominican pesos (about US$28) left over, so I decided to try my luck at my hotel's casino with the 1,000 pesos as my limit. Took me less than a half hour to lose every peso on the slot machines. I wanted to play blackjack, but you had to put down US$100 just to enter the game, which excluded me.

Maybe--just this one time only--I'll buy a lottery ticket today when I'm out and about running errands. Who knows...maybe my luck has changed.
