Sun Beach bar and restaurant in Negril?

Postby trvellover » Thu Jul 08, 2010 3:08 am

Has anyone eaten at Sun Beach in Negril? What is your favorite food that you ever eat there? Is it still worthwhile? I have eaten there several times and do not have any complain.

Address: Seven Mile Beach, Negril, Jamaica
Phone: (1876)-957-9118

Actually ECO, I want to know visitor’s comments. It was a low-cost place and I don’t eat there long time ago. Moreover, before going on next trip I want to collect updated info about the some places where we eat, long time before and it is which one.
I hope that you have eaten there but you forgot its name.

Hmmm...the name didn't register, but after seeing the pics, I think I consummated a business transaction outside the Sun Beach bar and restaurant once...at least it looks like the same place...

Trvellover, is Sun Beach just a click or two down the beach from Margaritaville?

I bought some sugar cane and a couple of those tiny sweet bananas. What did you think I was talking about? Was traveling with my (then 15-year-old) son on that trip, then when we got back to our hotel in Mobay at the end of the day, he was munching on the sugar cane, asking if he should swallow the fiber or spit it out. How many teenagers do you know who've chewed raw sugar cane at the source? And cliff dived in the West End of Negril?

I have not eaten up there but cherishing a desire to taste when I will go. But I heard the bar and restaurant quality is average.

I would just like to say "looks can be deceiving" so as long as you "don't judge a book by it's cover" here you go... Sun Beach just offers what we all really come to Jamaica and fall in love with. Good friendly staff that will make you feel at home, a real Jamaican musical atmosphere those good vintage reggae, and the food? Just try any of their spectacular dinner meals if you wanna say you really "ATE right on the famous Seven Mile Beach in Negril, Jamaica!" I have alot of favorites; their Lobster Thermidor, 2 for 1 Lobster Special is great and also the GInger Curry Chicken...their curry is excellent. Robert, Leeroy, Kevin, Dennis or Sophia will gladly put you in a happy mood with their IRIE VIBES. So now you know..."I just have to end up there most of the days i spend in Negril."

@ work will post pics tonight.
