I’m not a war mongrel but yesterday when I heard that there was going to be a solar eruption and that it could temporarily disable communication satellites the first thing I thought about was all the Generals around the world calculating their odds in a nuclear first strike. I once heard that if they figure they have a 67% chance of taking out 80% of the nukes in the Courtiers they launch against they will go for it. I figure man will always wage war on man until we find some one else to fight with - like aliens from another world and
we will kick their butts (if aliens have butts). Any way here is a won hit wonder by Barry McGuire. Cheers!

I’m not a war mongrel but I think the 9 billion dollars the Canadian Government is spending on 65 new fighter jets is money well spent.
These jets are next-generation F-35s - fitted with stealth technology, state-of-the-art operating systems and super-secure communications.

Here is a video of a F-35 (but maybe not a F-35 Lightening Two that Canada is getting) it’s a pretty cool video - about the only thing that would have been cooler is if it showed the jet taking off from an air craft career. Cheers!
