All systems go – estimated time to ganja harvest 191 days and counting.
Yesterday I opened and closed the lid on my cold frame a few times and there were no malfunctions so it’s a go for the 2011 ganja grow. In the next couple of days I will try getting some seeds to germinate and do the same ever 2 or 3 weeks.
This year I will be growing Burmese which is a slow growing plant it takes about 5 to 51/2 months to grow – a slow growing ganja plant can be a good thing because they are more buzzy then fast growing ganja plants and their usually a big plant with lots of leaf (nice for tea). The bad thing is their big and hard to hide and more work to take care of and 51/2 months is cutting it close season wise. If I remember right Burmese gets really huge multi colored sun leaves which stick out like a sore thumb but I don’t care because Burmese has a nice taste to it. (going to see if I can find some photos).
Going to add that all ganja plants have Sun leafs – most people will tell you that the purpose of a Sun leaf is to gather sun light and a few people will tell you that’s hog wash a Sun leaf is like a colorful carousal to protect the bud from the sun. To any body growing the out door ganja in 2011 – may the force be with you. Cheers!
